Indigo League, Kanto Badges by Dragina-Draona Indigo League, Kanto Badges by Dragina-Draona
Yay! Now I've made the first 8 gym badges. :la:
Each badge is around 21mm in diameter (The smallest brooch backs I could find were 20mm.) and one I get the brooch backs I've ordered, I might wear these around. :D

So, yes. The Boulder Badge, Cascade Badge. Thunder Badge, Rainbow Badge, Soul Badge, Marsh Badge, Volcano Badge and the Earth Badge! All the Indigo League badges. :3

I have been wanting to make these for a while, and I recently bought some gloss varnish which I wanted to try out. So I needed something that was supposed to be shiny. :D

Anyway, yes. I kinda did my own 'interpretation' of these badges (Makeing them more stick-y-out and less 2D/flat) and I think they came out fairly well. I'm so very proud of how the rainbow badge came out! :aww:
Also, these badge-designers really like octagons. 1/2 of these badges contain octagons, and I find them rather difficult to sculpt! :P

But, yes! Tell me what you think - I always find critique very useful. ^^

Thank you~

Made with Du-kit polymer clay!

Woah, really cool!

In fact so cool, are you willing to sell them? What price would you consider parting with them for? :)

Oh wow, this is a really cool idea. :D The glossy varnish looks great, infact as soon as I saw the thumbnails I was wondering what you'd applied to make them look glossy haha. :]
Gee-whiz, you're good with these (I'm not going to get over that. :XD:) but yeah, how cool! :D
So cool, too that you can make your own custom badges, people love badges. I bet you could set up a small business selling this kinda stuff!!

Yeah, I am pretty happy with how it came out. :D
:XD:
I'm glad you like them! ^^
Yeah, I have just recently ordered a bunch of earring-hooks, brooch backs, cell-charm straps, eye-pins and jump rings!
So I have everything I need to start selling charms and whatnot. Now to sort out pricing and postage...
But, yes! Thank you very much for the comment! :D

Oh really? Thats so cool! :la: cell-charrrmsss that'd be wicked! :la:
:] you're welcome.

Oh, I have a question if you don't mind, :], how does polymer du-kit keep? Do you have do keep it in fridge etc, does it go hard after a while? :3 just curious. I am thinking about maybe buying some, it looks fun c:

Yess. Maybe. :D

Du-kit keeps really well! It's fairly firm, but once you kneed it, it can become quite soft. ^^
DON'T put it in the fridge OR run it under cold water. It can become pretty brittle if cold. I've had one model fall apart on me because I just wanted to wash some dust off it. :noes:
^ (This is unbaked! Once it bakes, it becomes perfectly solid - and not brittle at all! :D)
But, yea. Uber fun! You should give it a go! :la:

Ahh okay :D Baha, good thing you've told me that because knowing me I would have treated it like normal clay and stored it in a fridge. :XD: D: Oh no. Ahh :]
I think I will, I went to look for it in town just before actually, found it going for $4.20 for a 50g bar. Quite expensive Dx so I think I'm going to see if anywhere else sells it cheaper. Though I have no idea what the go-ing price is. :XD:
Oh! Another question if you don't mind (sorry Dx), but can you mix colours? That just might help me decide what colours I want [:

Ahahaha, yeah. Du-kit -is- fairly expensive, and I normally get it between $4-$5 per 50g. ^^;
It makes up for that, however, by being awesome. (VERY durable once backed, not brittle, good colours... etc) ^^
Also, you most certainly can mix colours! It would be pretty useless if you couldn't!
If you're wanting to start out, I reckon the base requirements would be the three primary colours (red, yellow, blue) white and black. :D
You can build up your supplies from there - if it's something you enjoy! :la:
Have fun~ :meow:

Cool thanks, I shall have to go buy some this weekend! :la: I have some wood carving tools I think will work just as nicely with the clay. :la:
Thank you :]

Oh my gosh, this brings back memories...
When I was around 6-7 years old, I wanted a real life set of pokemon badges SO BADLY.
I had completely forgotten about that until I saw this. :XD:

They look pretty sweet, nice work!

Ahahaa.. Yes. :D
I always have (and still do) wanted a full set of all the badges.
I don't know how I'd wear them all, but I would. :meow:

Thank you! Glad you like them!~
You should absolutely make some of your own!
No doubt yours would look awesome. :D
